I have been a specialist headhunter since 1997. Within Corporate Finance I run searches across Management, which includes succession planning, Coverage (geographic and sector), M&A, ECM and Corporate Broking. Most of the mandates have had a geographic focus on the UK and across Western Europe, but I’ve also worked on assignments in Russia and Eastern Europe. Whilst I have completed searches in every sector covered by investment banks, my more in-depth experience has been in TMT, FIG, oil & gas, utilities, consumer & retail, healthcare and the industrials sectors.

Jo and I founded The Lothbury Partnership in August 2016 following 16 years of working together at The Rose Partnership, where I jointly ran the Investment Banking practice with Jo since 2006. I joined The Rose Partnership in 2000 following eight years as an Officer in the British Army, having completed Officer Training at the Royal Academy Sandhurst in 1989.

Focusing exclusively on Investment Banking, I run searches across Management (including succession planning), Coverage (geographic and sector), M&A and ECM. I have had a particular focus on the international markets throughout my career and have run domestic searches across most of Western Europe, but particularly Germany, France, Italy, the Nordics and Spain. I spent four years in Asia setting up The Rose Partnership’s business there and have also worked on searches in Russia, Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. I have worked extensively in all the industry sectors within Investment Banking throughout my career.

Emma and I founded The Lothbury Partnership in August 2016 following 16 years of working together at The Rose Partnership where we ran the Investment Banking practice together since 2006. I joined The Rose Partnership in 1998, having worked at two other boutique firms, always focused on Investment Banking Executive Search. I gained a BSc in Psychology from the University of Leicester in 1994.

Having started my executive search career in 2011 when I joined The Rose Partnership’s Investment Banking practice, over the past nine years I have worked extensively across the UK and European markets.  From 2013 to 2018 I worked for a boutique executive search firm specialising in internal controls, governance and regulatory search for financial services institutions, corporates and professional services firms, with a personal focus on Finance, Risk and Reward.

I rejoined Emma and Jo at The Lothbury Partnership in 2018 where I conduct senior level searches across Coverage (geographic and sector), M&A and ECM.

I was educated at the University of St Andrews where I gained a first class MA in French and Spanish.  I am also a qualified conference interpreter.
